Manchester Author Event & Gig 2019 - tickets are live

The Manchester Author Event & Gig 2019 is an international book signing event.

We are going to be having the event at the Park Inn Raddison Hotel, in Manchester.The venue is now confirmed for the Saturday the 3th August 2019, Manchester, UK.

This is an annual event, and this will be the fourth of its kind. Next year will also take place in central Manchester, at the same venue.
A new feature at the Manchester signing this year is the addition of panels, where readers and authors can ask questions of the invited panelists.
There will be 4 rooms this year due to the amazing success last year. Live readings will also take place.

Our first event in Liverpool is also going ahead on Saturday the 7th of September 2019, at the Maritime Museum, Albert Dock, Liverpool.

Tickets for Manchester are £7.50 for a morning or afternoon ticket, and a £15.00 for all day. Come and join us and chat with our authors. Buy a print, or buy a paperback and get it signed too.

You can also pay on the door, on the day.

We will be having a FREE "Meet and Greet" at a venue to be agreed in advance, on the Friday evening prior to the signing. Readers are free to join us and chat to the authors. Dance, laugh and have some fun. Last year was a hoot!

Theme for the evening event at the hotel is "Fairytales". A sit down meal, followed by a DJ.

This exciting event is going to be taking place at The Red Rose Steam Society Ltd. mining museum, on the outskirts of Manchester, just off the A580/East Lancs Road. This is the main trunk road between Manchester and Liverpool.

Erin Urban is the inspiration behind her mother, Lavinia Urban's, Erin the Fire Goddess series when she asked her mother to write her a story after being bullied.

Erin is a 14 year old girl (15 in June) who dreams of one day becoming a Graphic Designer.

The evening acts that are confirmed so far are Mog Stanley and Officer.

We will also have a number of spoken word performers at this event including The Grumbling Gargoyle, Lynn Gerrard. A mistress of dark humour.

I recently did an album review for Mog and loved the album. I have also watched Officer perform at a friend's book launch in St Helen's. Very pleased and excited they are both signed up for the event

The event will be held in three marquees in the grounds of the museum. The largest being 21 x 15 metres, also two smaller marquees will house the beer tent & refreshments.
Afternoon tea of sandwiches and cakes will be available.
An ice cream van will be on site thtoughout the day.
